Your item is scrubbed down and washed with sugar soap (for better paint adhesion).
All parts of doors, internal edges of cupboard housings, internal areas of drawers, side panels of drawers are masked-off and protected to provide a neat finish and not paint 'bleed' or overspray.
All hinges, escutcheons, knobs and door furniture are removed to retain original colour and finish (not painted over as in option 1)
Your item is left to dry and then painted with one layer of primer followed by 5 thin layers of top coat.
Your item is then 'sealed' for protection and longevity of finish.
All door furniture is re-fitted.
